Abbot House
Squirrel Lane Cottage is a charming
18th century Scottish town house that has been occupied since
around 1789. It is one of Dunfermline's oldest buildings. It is
situated in the heart of the historic district of the town and
convenient to all amenities.
The ancient Abbey wall is just a few feet away and
the cottage where Andrew Carnegie was born is across the
street.
An entrance to the towns famous Pittencrief Park is
found next to Squirrel Lane Cottage so you can enjoy a walk in a
lovely country setting, finding peacocks, wood pigeons and of
course squirrels.
