Once a gamekeepers cottage, Cherry Tree Lodge has been recently renovated and extended to provide modern, comfortable accommodation whilst maintaining the character of the original building. One of the key criteria for finding our home was that it must have great views that lift the soul.
At Cherry Tree Lodge you get great views of Fife from nearly every window. When sitting in the sun room you can appreciate the majesty of the Ochil hills to the right, and, ahead and to the left, undulating hills and pasture stretching as far as the eye can see.
On a clear day you can even see past the Wallace monument over in Stirling to Ben Lomond, nearly 45 miles away.
One of the great qualities of the house is that it has a feeling of light and space and it enjoys an idyllic setting located at the end of a quiet farm road, surrounded by its own paddocks.
You will find here a peaceful and tranquil space to enable you to let go of the “busy”-ness of life, recharge your batteries and nurture your soul. It’s for that reason you won’t find daily newspapers here or a television and we encourage guests to use their mobiles and laptops in their rooms. Instead we offer a large DVD/CD/book/games library and the full splendour of what mother nature has to offer.
